Saturday 6th Febuary saw teams from Bristol, Bath, UWE and Herts compete in the annual BUCC polo tournament for the prize of cake and bragging rights. The party atmosphere was aided by resident DJ George who played such classics as ‘holding on for a hero’ and ‘keep rolling, rolling rolling’ The tournament was enjoyed by spectators and players alike who saw Bristol Team 2 win their league after a draw agains the Bristol ladies team the Voodoo Vixens and go trough to the final where they were met by Bristol team 1 who after winning all of their games in their half of the league went on to win a highly competative final. The afterparty at ‘the park’ went on ’til the early hours and as the nibbles crept in, the cake was finished off. Thanks go to herts, UWE and bath for joining us this year, Rob for organising, and to the cake making extraordinaire Rachel for a noisy afterparty.
