Unless otherwise stated, trips meet at the union at 9am and there will be a pick-up from Hiatt Baker lower carpark at 9am to run people from Stoke Bishop down to the stores.
Below are some of the trips we will be running this year - the list will be added to as we move through the year however all trips are subject to weather (and river) conditions. Remember to always check your emails for last minute changes before a trip.
What to bring on day trips
- Warm clothing for when you get off the river
- Some snacks (i.e. chocolate) and something to drink as trips will last most of the day
- Swimming costume
- Trainers you don't mind getting wet or if you have them, wetsuit shoes
- Thermal tops or rash vests are much better than cotton T-shirts on the river
- A towel
- Something to put wet gear in
- You'll normally need a sleeping bag and mat
- Anything else to make it more comfortable
